Default Any Tricks for Sliver Armor?

Hey guys,
Lately i've been getting into dungeon running and recently have been having trouble killing bosses when they are only around a number of foes.. So i was wondering if there are any tricks on how to make sure a certain foe takes the damage from Sliver Armor.. thanks

Try shadow stepping to target foe, works 9 times out of 10..

Slivers bugged if you ask me.
It can never decide what foe to attack and is random as hell.
Eg - when doing a fast run for the scareater , i get to boss who is a monk and 10/10 it will target him first - now if i carried on to the ele boss and lost the initial mob from first boss so it has new targets.I get to ele boss and he has same foes around him - you are lucky if you get him as often ive wiped the kirins and undergrowths before it decides to.
I cant understand why its so picky - both are casters so 60 ar ( in theory ) , same foes.

Ive tried shadowstep bosses , running round them a few times then sliver , wanding them first , even running up and slapping them and it has a high fail rate.Only a few bosses ive had a quick run at does it target straight away and thats been repeatedly tested.

Also its description seems wrong and misleading
Enchantment Spell. (5...10...11 seconds.) You have 25...45...50% chance to block. Deals 5...29...35 earth damage to one nearby foe whenever you are the target of a hostile spell or attack.
now it doesnt state it will jump targets - i hate fighting a boss down to almost death and some foe walks near and wham hes now the target as well as its random targetting.

I don't know if this works. But I heard u can walk sidewards and walk the target you want it to damage. Worth trying maybe?

As far as I recall it is supposed to target the last creature to enter range and then works back from there.

But it doesn't always work that way, so there seems to be more going on than "last creature entering range".

For example, I farm the undead behind Oink's house quite frequently. The first group consists of a hellhound and some pop-up ghouls at the bottom of the hill, and the death of the hellhound triggers many additional spawns. Sliver will ALWAYS target the hellhound, though I'm also surrounded by ghouls when I cast it, so it isn't choosing at random from the initial set of targets. When the zombie warlocks show up, sliver will target each of them in preference to anything else -- hound, ghoul, or minion -- coming or going until all three are dead. It also seems to have a preference for targeting hellhounds over ghouls, as it will not switch to a ghoul that leaves and returns if there is a hellhound in range.

It has class preferences, I think to hurt certain types of farms. If I'm remembering rightly it will always target warriors before spell casters and just about anything before a monk.

Certain bosses always get targetted:
Scar eater
Woe Spreader (If targetted before casting)
The rit yeti outside of Fort Aspenwood luxon.

There are others, but those 3 are the easiest to check.

After doing ton of raptor farming, it does seem to have a random element to it. Most of the time the boss is the preferred target, other times the boss is skipped over. I've seen 20 raptor nestlings go down before the Broodmother finally started to take damage.

Spirit targeting is even worse.

I've found with the raptor farming targetting and wanding the boss makes her more likely to be the target when Sliver goes up...but not always, so there are other factors

I would like to argue the part about Monks get targeted last. When running a 55 monk with Sliver Armor against the insects in Arkjok right outside of Yohlon Haven, ever time I run up to the monk, pulling the warriors with me, the monk is first to take damage from Silver Armor. Can't entirely remember who was after that, the paragons or warriors. This was still working a few months back, so i can't say this is still 100% accurate if there were updates that changed it.
